Feildians has 125 years of history, but the club is creating a strategy & a leadership team to provide us with a new legacy.
It’s a project for the future that we are motivated to get right.
Feildians will embody what makes a proper soccer club…
To create a sense of belonging, a sense of pride, to embody passion for soccer…
To bring the whole club together where youth & senior groups support each other…
To invest in quality people & let them do what they are good at…
To build training & playing infrastructure that gives us flexibility...
To challenge the local norms & be innovative in the way we execute our programs…
Feildians already has wonderful players, coaches, families & a beautiful home. We have 39 youth teams, 9 senior teams, lots of quality coaches & over 100 volunteers.
Growth is not the goal. The goal is doing things right.
This is a project, fueled by people with a passion for soccer & our community. The project will evolve, as the club evolves. There are no limits. We are getting reorganized so we can leave our legacy.
As we embark on this journey, we need to ensure we have a club head coach with vision and amazing leadership qualities.
Feildians’ Club Head Coach will be the centre of the club. As a key part of the leadership team you’ll lead the execution of the club’s strategy & vision. Your key day to day focus will be executing player and coaching development objectives.
Playing Philosophy & Player Development

Coach Development
Leading the FAA Technical Committee to establish & maintain a plan to ensure our coaching pool is being developed to support the clubs current & future goals.
Motivating and developing our parent coaching pool, through on-field support & encouragement, and off field tools and knowledge sharing.
Provide guidance and recommendations to coaches to foster optimal player development.
Be a Learning Facilitator so we can put off coaching development courses in house.
Advocate For Feildians
Be a strong voice in Technical, NLSA and Metro meetings, to help ensure feedback and recommendations from our club is heard.
Communicate the outcomes of these discussions & their implications to the committees & coaches impacted.
Work Together to Create the Right Team
We want you doing what you are best at and what is hardest to do and staying out of the weeds. While you will be responsible for all soccer activities at the club, you’ll need strong leadership skills to delegate the non-critical tasks to:
passionate & able youth staff who we should be investing in;
other staff & volunteers;
board members.
We want someone that sees this as a profession. Someone who will approach this with intellect, energy, passion & pride. We look forward to investing in and supporting that person.
